What is Ladies On The Go About Anyway? 

Well, we are Ladies who are success-minded and want the support of other like-minded Ladies.  We strive to assist our group to be better at follow up, teach how to do 60 second commercials and 5 minute presentations.  We encourage storytelling and building relationships. We are there to help each other with our journeys through life.  Most of all we love to have fun doing all of the above.

Our group laughs and even giggles sometimes, but we are serious about business and referrals.  We are beginning some new  ventures with our group and  relocating to bigger spaces.  This will allow our group to grow and flourish.

Our vision for Ladies On The Go has always been Empowering Ladies in Business.  In order to empower someone, there has to be some action.  The action we are taking now is to relocate the Tuesday morning group and the First and Fourth Thursday evening groups. We are always looking for a better way to assist Ladies to give them more confidence and posturing.  We are bringing our community together through Ladies On The Go. 

Our group's needs have changed since our beginning a little over a year ago and we recognize that change is evident.  We have been preparing for these changes for months now, and we are ready to make these steps to help our group grow. 

We are implementing a CD that will have a member directory, a presentation of our group to help others understand more about our group, pdf files that will assist in writing ads, how to find gateopeners for your business, and much, much more.  We respect your privacy which means if you haven't given your permission to publish your contact information (generally done by having at least a 35-word free ad) your business information will not be on the CD.

We are looking toward the future and implementing Conventions and Day Retreats that can help Ladies everywhere build their businesses and relationships.  We are going to our members for a Self Defense class.  We are offering ways to continue to have membership free.  We are adding a Single Page publication for our members to place ads and this will be distributed in our community.

Group LImitations - We don't limit the group regarding the number of people in the various businesses.  For example, we may have three or four real estate agents, two accountants or six people in home-based businesses.  The business is out there to be had.  That's why we help teach all members that it's your story that encourages the client to purchase from you.

Meeting people who can relate to you and your business is essential.  For example, if there is only one phone company to get your service through, there is no competition and why on earth should that one company improve their customer service just for you?  Not restricting the membership keeps all of us on our toes, so to speak, regarding our commitment to the customer.

One of our own needs help! 

Suzie Hubbel of Miss Scarlet's was the victim of a fire in her home and shop in historic downtown Acworth.  Some local business owners and residents are holding a benefit for her.

Benefit for Miss Scarlet

Sunday, August 15 from 1 to 5 pm

As a group, Ladies On The Go is about helping our members in times of need as well as times of joy.   One of the programs at the benefit will be a silent auction.  If you would like to donate items for this silent auction, please bring them to our Tuesday morning meeting or dorp them off at The House of Flowers, N Main Street, Acworth.

Please pass the word out to all your friends and clients.  Activites at the benefit will include live music, the silent auction, games and fun for all the kids.  Of course, admission is free.
